When You Arrive

Both Season Passholders and Single Day Ticket guests will need to make a reservation prior to visiting Soak City Water Park. Guests who are not planning to enjoy the water park during their visit do not need to make a reservation.

Yes, the health screen questionnaire will continue to be required for all guests and park associates prior to entering the park.

The health and safety of our guests and associates remains our top priority. After consulting with medical experts and guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), we have decided to discontinue temperature checks, except where required by state or local jurisdictions. The pandemic has shown temperature screening will not be completely effective because individuals who have no symptoms associated with COVID-19, or those with mild non-specific symptoms, may not realize they are infected and may pass through screening.

One of the things we’ve learned in this pandemic, and it’s been talked about a lot over the past year, is that a lot of people transmit the virus with no symptoms or fever. As noted above, the pandemic has shown temperature screening is not completely effective because individuals who have no symptoms associated with COVID-19, or those with mild non-specific symptoms, may not realize they are infected and may pass through screening. As more is learned and understood about COVID-19, guidelines and recommendations from the CDC and others have evolved.

When You're in the Park

Yes, all rides and at Kings Island and Soak City Water Park are anticipated to be open.

According to the CDC, it’s important for everyone to continue using all the tools available to help stop this pandemic as we learn more about how vaccines will affect the spread of COVID-19. To protect yourself and others, the CDC is recommending that it is safest for fully vaccinated people to continue to wear well-fitted face coverings when attending crowded outdoor events.

According to the CDC, it’s important for everyone to continue using all the tools available to help stop this pandemic, including face coverings. The CDC also said it’s still evaluating reinfection risks for those who have already had COVID-19. While relatively rare, reinfection has happened, and the virus continues to spread and develop variants, some of which have been more contagious than previous strains.

Social distancing is still one of the keys to preventing the spread of COVID-19. Our park is already operating at reduced capacity, which allows for appropriate social distancing throughout the park. Guests aged 10 and older must continue wearing face coverings indoors, as well as outdoors when appropriate social distancing is not possible.

Children under the age of ten are not required to wear face coverings.  Also, under provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), guests with a medical condition, mental health condition, or disability that prohibits  the wearing of a face covering will not be required to wear one.

None of our ride experiences are long enough to meet the criteria that’s been established by the CDC as consistent exposure, which is 15 minutes or more. In addition, the ventilation and air flow surrounding riders during the ride helps deter the spread. However, face coverings are required while experiencing indoor rides and are still recommended while experiencing outdoor rides.

Per our normal operating guidelines and in compliance with the CDC, we are routinely cleaning and sanitizing our restrooms throughout the day.

You may exit and re-enter the park. You will need to obtain a re-entry voucher at the exit and will need to go through the entry procedures again including metal detection.  Re-entry policies are subject to change.

You are welcome to stay as long as you like until the park closes for the day.

BY VISITING THE PARK, YOU VOLUNTARILY ASSUME ALL RISKS RELATED TO EXPOSURE TO COVID-19

We have taken enhanced health and safety measures - for you, our other guests, and our associates. You must follow all posted instructions while visiting the park. An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the CDC, senior citizens and guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable.

If you are exhibiting any COVID-19-related symptoms, you should not enter or remain in the park.

Help keep each other healthy.
