So Much Fun Food!

Zombie Poutine, anyone? Pumpkin Spice Funnel Cake? When you purchase a Tricks And Treats Fall Fest Tasting Card, you can visit numerous tasting stations offering snack-sized portions of scrumptious sweets and savories—from wild to mild. Choose among a dozen Tricks (foods that might look crazy but are crazy delicious) and a dozen classic Treats (seasonal tastes we know and love). We’re brewing up tasty craft beer, ciders, and specialty potions you can order without alcohol or “bewitched” with a nip of spirits. Throughout the park you’ll also find gotta-have-it favorites and lots of goodies with a Halloween twist—all served with the highest safety standards.

So Much to See and Do!

Tricks And Treats Fall Fest offers all the playful fun of a traditional fall festival with safety and social distancing measures built in. A fang-tastic time is in store for all with fall-themed games where everyone wins, family and adults-only game shows, dance parties, corn and hay mazes, a QR quest, a challenge course, pint-sized tractor rides, super-cute crafts and much more. If that’s not AMAZING enough, take your taste buds on a wacky adventure with our Trick or Treat Bean Challenge. Will you get jelly beans that are yuck or yum? Great or gross? Plus, your favorite rides will be open to deliver the thrills and chills found only at Kings Island.

So Much Costume Fun!

We invite everyone from babies and tots to tweens and adults to wear their Halloween best and join in one of our many costume contests. Don't have a costume? Snag a Halloween-themed face mask or get a Monster Makeover with our safe and sanitary process. Decorate your own pumpkin and watch as talented pumpkin artisans decorate incredible masterpieces. Live entertainment explodes throughout the park with music, skits and shows specially designed for little ones, kids, tweens, teens and adults. Have a blast at amazing fall activities around every corner!

So Many Tricks or Treats!

Trick-or-Treat is the center of any Halloween event, and you can count on a safe experience at Kings Island. At designated Trick-or-Treating spots throughout the park, kids will receive individually packaged tasty treats with perhaps some fun tricks thrown in.

Social distancing practices and policies will be in place throughout the event. For Trick-or-Treating and our other Tricks And Treats activities, shows and attractions, social distancing and sanitation processes will be in place. Several Trick-or-Treat locations will also feature touchless candy delivery. Candy and Trick-or-Treat items will come individually packaged. In our craft areas, craft items will come individually packaged where possible.

Guests are welcome to wear costumes and face paint during the Tricks And Treats event. If there is any question about a guest’s identity, the park reserves the right to ask that the face covering and/or face paint be removed. Costume masks may only be worn during the Tricks And Treats Costume Contest. Costume masks must be worn in conjunction with a COVID-19 face covering.

Costume guidelines are as follows:

  • Costumes must be family-friendly
  • Costumes cannot be obstructive, offensive, objectionable, or violent in nature
    • Obscene language or graphics are not allowed
    • Clothing which, by nature, exposes excessive portions of the skin that may be viewed as inappropriate for a family environment are not allowed
    • No weapons
    • No sharp or pointed objects or materials that could accidentally strike other guests
    • Nothing overly gory
    • Proper attire, including shoes and shirts, must be worn at all times

The park reserves the right to deny admission to, or remove, any person wearing attire that is inappropriate or that could detract from the experience of other guests.

Tricks And Treats is a special event for all ages. We anticipate that Halloween Haunt, which includes indoor haunted houses and outdoor fright zones, will return in 2021.

Throughout the day, several Tricks And Treats Costume Contests will be held at International Street Bandstand Stage throughout the day. The Costume Contest seeks to find the best dressed guests in the following categories:

  • 12:30pm – Babies (3 & under)
  • 2:00pm - Kids (4-9 years old)
  • 3:30pm - Tweens (10-12 years old)
  • 5:00pm – Families
  • 6:00pm – Teens / Adults (13 +)

Please see a member of The Costume Council at the International Street Bandstand Stage stage 15 minutes prior to each category.

The Costume Council is a competitive collection of “fashionistas” who have each mastered their area of Halloween expertise. They will be hanging out at the International Street Bandstand Stage stage prior to each contest to recruit guests to join their “fashion house.” Each house will go head-to-head, and the house that wins will gain major bragging rights!

We invite all guests in (and out) of costume to join us at International Street Bandstand Stage at 7:30pm for the Costume Ball. Strut your stuff and show off at the socially-distanced dance party!
