New Year's Eve at WinterFest
December 31, 2024| 5:00 PM - 12:00 AM

Celebrate the last night of the year with friends and family at Kings Island’s New Year’s Eve celebration. Join us in the fun as we bid our final farewells to 2024 and usher in 2025 with two New Year’s Eve countdowns: One in Kings island Theater beginning at 10:00 PM that’s perfect for families and a midnight countdown complete with fireworks. Park guests will also experience the shimmering lights, activities and the extravagant décor of WinterFest along with the final park rides of the year.

*Rides operate until 11:00 PM

New Year’s Eve Under The Lights at International Restaurant

Ring In 2025 at the New Year’s Eve Lounge in the International Restaurant and enjoy a one-of-a-kind dining experience including assorted hors d'oeuvres and various international delicacies along with a pasta station, carving station and a delicious dessert bar throughout the evening. Plus, you’ll have access to a private cash bar away from the hustle and bustle of the park. Come and go as you please to enjoy the food and festivities throughout the night as you explore the winter wonderlands in the park.

Welcome the New Year with a complimentary champagne or sparkling cider toast at midnight paired with the best view of our fireworks spectacular. This unique experience also includes unlimited hot chocolate, soft drinks, Midway Merriment character encounters and other WinterFest surprises throughout the night.

Dinner buffet will be available between 7:30-10:30 PM and dessert buffet will be available between 9:30-11:30 PM. Please note seating includes tables from 2-6 seats. We will do our best to seat larger groups at joining tables or tables near one another. It is possible smaller groups or individuals may be seated with other parties.

Join the eager elves of Tinker’s Toy Factory for an early, family-friendly New Year’s Eve Countdown in Kings Island Theater featuring character interactions and a giant balloon drop at 10:30 PM.

Snoopy's Rockin' Countdown

10:00 PM – 11:55 PM

Join Snoopy, a live DJ and select Midway Merriment characters as they ring in the new year like never before! Watch as our 314-foot-tall magical Christmas tree is transformed into a giant countdown clock at 11:59 PM leading up to fireworks at the stroke of midnight.
