In just a few weeks, the monsters will go back into hiding, the skeletons will march off into the distance and the eerie surroundings of Halloween Haunt will begin to disappear.

This signals the annual transition into one of the most magical times of the year – WinterFest.

But this year’s a little bit different and it means MORE FUN for you! For the first time, Kings Island will be open for a special “bonus weekend” November 8 and 9! It’s extra time in the park with some of your favorite rides and attractions. Here’s what you need to know.

What It Is

During this event, you’ll get the traditional Kings Island park experience. No Halloween Haunt or Tricks and Treats activities. So if you want to grab some additional ride time or just spend additional time inside the park, this is for you! Then, we close as we prepare for WinterFest which begins on Friday, November 28.

Park Hours

Kings Island will be open on Saturday and Sunday, November 8 and 9 from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. You can purchase single-day tickets online or use your valid Gold / Prestige Pass for entry!

More Ride Time

Most rides will be up and running for the weekend, including Orion, Banshee, The Racer, Planet Snoopy and more (weather permitting, of course). Note that The Beast and Eiffel Tower will be closed. Make sure you have the Kings Island mobile app up and running so you can see what attractions are available during your visit.

Dining & Shopping

Grab an early holiday gift for the Kings Island fan in your fam at Coaster Connection or enjoy some sweet treats from Coney Confections. Sink your teeth into a juicy burger from Miami River Brewhouse or some fresh BBQ at Coney Bar-B-Que. Most dining locations will be open, so come out and savor more flavor.

Have a knack for Whack-a-Mole? Midway games will be rockin’ so you can continue your (hopefully) winning streak for great prizes.
