Halloween Haunt comes screaming back Sept. 20

The chill of fall is in the air, which can only mean one thing to residents of Greater Cincinnati: the return of Halloween Haunt at Kings Island!
The popular annual Halloween tradition returns to Kings Island on Sept. 20 when the park is transformed into a playground of terror, with hundreds of assorted clowns, ghouls, vampires, werewolves and ghost pirates lurking in the shadows, waiting to feed off your fears.
Event Dates: September 20 - November 2, 2024
- Fridays and Saturdays: 6:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m.*
- Sundays (Oct. 6, 13, 20) 6:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.
*On Saturday, Sept. 21, Halloween Haunt starts at 7:00 p.m.
Open every Friday and Saturday night and select Sundays for seven weekends through Nov. 2, Halloween Haunt 2024 features six haunted mazes, six outdoor scare zones, five sinister shows, plus the thrill of more than 20 of your favorite rides, including The Beast, Banshee, Diamondback and Mystic Timbers roller coasters.
Scare Zones
Six scare zones will be spread throughout the park, including the biggest change for 2024, the addition of the NEW Hooked, featuring immersive and frightful ghost pirates of a sunken ship who have returned to claim the treasure that is theirs. Dead men tell no tales...but they do want revenge! When the bells toll and the fog rolls in, BEWARE! Additional Scare Zones include the returning Coney Maul, Pumpkin Eater (new location), International Street Fear, Abandoned and Alien X.
Haunted Mazes
Six popular haunted mazes will be returning, including Cornered, Alien Abyss, Hotel St. Michelle, KillMart, Madame Fatale's Cavern of Terror and Slaughterhouse.
Live Entertainment
The live entertainment lineup will feature the Halloween Haunt Opening Ceremony, Dr. Nightmare, Ghouls Gone Wild, Killer Countdown and Nyte Walkers.
Tickets for Halloween Haunt are as low as $44.99 when purchased in advance online or on Kings Island’s mobile app, which Android and iPhone users can download for free. Admission to the event is free for 2024 and 2025 Gold and Prestige passholders.
Guests looking to make the most of their night at Halloween Haunt can add Fright Lane to bypass waiting in line to experience each of the six haunted mazes once. Plus, choose one bonus maze to revisit!

Family Daytime Fun
For families, Tricks and Treats , is a kid-friendly daytime Halloween event that takes place from 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays beginning Sept. 22 through Nov. 3. The event features crafts, games, activities, trick-or-treat doors, a kids’ costume contest and meet-and-greet opportunities with the PEANUTS gang. Plus, all the fun of Planet Snoopy, including the new Camp Snoopy!
