Kings Island's Soak City Achieves 2024 Platinum Safety Award

Kings Island's Soak City Water Park has been honored with the prestigious Platinum Aquatic International Safety Award from Jeff Ellis & Associates, a world leader in aquatic safety consulting. The recognition places Soak City in the top 10% of the firm's clients worldwide, acknowledging the water park’s exceptional commitment to aquatic safety and risk management.

"We are incredibly honored to receive this recognition," said Dakota Walter, Soak City Area Manager. "Guest and associate safety is our top priority, and this recognition underscores our team's dedication to providing a safe and enjoyable water park experience for everyone who visits us."

Jeff Ellis & Associates conducted a rigorous unannounced evaluation of Soak City's lifeguard proficiency, emergency protocols and facility supervision. The audit team was impressed by the staff's unwavering commitment to safety, noting that Soak City sets the industry standard for swimmer protection.
