Coasterstock 2024 Update

January 13, 2024

Kings Island is dedicated to offering a unique coaster event every year for coaster club members to take part in.

In 2024, the park will celebrate our longstanding relationship with American Coaster Enthusiasts (ACE) by hosting its Spring Conference from May 17-19. More information will be released about this event and ticket purchasing in the coming weeks on the ACE website.

Due to the timing, we will not have Coasterstock in 2024, but we are looking forward to its return in 2025. Throughout the 2024 season, Kings Island will host a series of coaster club opportunities, and we will be in touch with those clubs and past Coasterstock participants before the season begins with more details.

Upcoming Events

The events below are open to (and only being promoted with) the following coaster clubs:  American Coaster Enthusiasts, Coaster Crew, European Coaster Club, Great Ohio Coaster Club, Florida Coaster Club, Roller Coaster Club of Great Britain and the  Western New York Coaster Club. 

Coaster Enthusiasts Meet-Ups, First Ride of the Day and Exclusive Park Ride Photos
Start off your visit to Kings Island by connecting with other roller coaster enthusiasts and grabbing one of the first rides of the day on a featured coaster.  During those first rides, park photographers will be stationed in multiple off-ride locations taking photos that you’ll be able to download later. Photos will be taken the first 30 minutes of operation, so ride more than once.

  • Orion:  Monday, July 29, Arrive at the ride between 9:30-9:45am
  • Backlot Stunt Coaster : Friday, August 2, Arrive at the ride between 9:30-9:45am
  • Diamondback: Friday, August 9, Arrive at the ride between 9:30-9:45am

Ride in a Grand Carnivale ‘Spectacle of Color’ Parade Float

Join in on the fun of the Spectacle of Color Parade! Participate in its electrifying vibe by riding on one of our floats!  

NATIONAL ROLLER COASTER DAY |  Friday, August 16

Enjoy a ride on the world’s longest wooden roller coaster, The Beast, on National Roller Coaster Day, followed by a behind-the-scenes tour.

The Beast

  • First Rides of the Day, Arrive 9:30-9:45am
  • Behind the Scenes Tour, Starts at 10:30 (Show your Coaster Club ID to enter. No entry after gate closes)
