“We are looking for individuals who want to create great experiences for guests visiting Kings Island,” said Mike Koontz, vice president and general manager of Kings Island. “A seasonal job at the park offers competitive wages and perks you won’t find anywhere else. It is perfect for anyone who is looking for supplemental income in the summer, like students, teachers or retirees.”

An Open House will be held at Kings Island on Saturday, Feb. 17, from 10:00 a.m-2:00 p.m. in the park’s Festhaus dining hall. Each department with positions will have an informational table set up and staffed by current employees who will be able to talk about what it is like to work at the 364-acre amusement park.

"I absolutely love working at Kings Island during the summer," said Katie Milbower, Operations Supervisor in the Park Services department and physical education teacher at Mt. Healthy South Elementary. "Working at Kings Island is an opportunity to work with great teams and not to mention flexible scheduling. I am beginning my 11th teaching and starting my 16th year of FUN with Kings Island," she said.

Milbower continued.  "You work with a variety of individuals, and it is a great way to earn some extra money in the summer!  Joining Kings Island is joining a family!"

Kings Island will also visit local high schools Feb. 19-23, and participate in the Cincinnati Recreation Commission’s 18th Annual Mayor’s Career Expo on Saturday, Feb. 24, from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.

Interested candidates can learn more and apply for available positions by visiting the park’s website.
