Roller coaster aficionados consider Coasterstock at Kings Island as a coming home – one big family reunion. The best two days of the year. No better place to be.

This weekend, May 19-20, this annual event brings together roller coaster and theme park enthusiasts from around the country and Canada for two full days of riding, behind-the-scenes tours, and other exclusive experiences. Here’s what this year’s attendees can expect from this exciting event:

Coaster Riding

Of course, the primary draw of Coasterstock is the opportunity to ride Kings Island’s legendary and top ranked roller coasters. These sessions including the park’s newest roller coaster Orion, which reaches speeds up to 91 mph, and The Beast. Throughout the event, attendees have exclusive access to select rides during morning and night ERT (exclusive ride time).

Exclusive Experiences

In addition to coaster riding, Coasterstock offers a variety of exclusive experiences attendees can’t get anywhere else. This includes behind-the-scenes tours of roller coasters and other attractions, Q&A with park staff and roller coaster designers, and special meals and activities. For example, this year’s Coasterstock includes a dinner with guest presenter Michael Graham, engineer and principal of The Gravity Group, as well as being able to participate in the World’s Largest Coaster Enthusiast Chicken Dance and win cool prizes through Tweetups. (Must follow me at @DonHelbig for the Tweetups.)

Community

The most rewarding part of Coasterstock is the sense of community that comes with it. You’ll be surrounded by other coaster enthusiasts who share your passion for rides, thrills and the attractions industry. The event is a great opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals and to make new friends who share your interests.

Coasterstock at Kings Island offers a unique and unforgettable experience for anyone who loves roller coasters. With exclusive ride time, behind-the-scenes tours, Q&A sessions, event shirts, and a sense of community, it’s a truly thrilling event that you’ll remember for a long time.

A total of 25 different states and Canada will be represented at this year’s Coasterstock. Since the inaugural Coasterstock in 2015, roller coaster enthusiasts from all 50 states, two Canadian provinces and three European countries have descended upon Kings Island to take part.
