Kings Island is looking to fill 5,000 jobs. The 364-acre amusement and water park is now accepting applications online for its 50th Anniversary season in 2022, which starts in April.

A diverse range of job opportunities are available, and associates are needed in all areas of park operation. Those areas include admissions, entertainment, food and beverage, fire and safety, guest services, lifeguards, merchandise, ride operations, security, sweeps and warehouse.

All positions start at a minimum of $15 for associates who are 16 years of age and older, minus tipped positions.

A limited number of jobs require a minimum age of 14 years. Adults looking to supplement their income, retirees, and teachers available for the summer are encouraged to apply as well. Qualified applicants will be contacted to schedule an on-site or virtual interview.

Don’t wait to apply. It’s competitive. A limited number of positions are available in several departments, and those positions can fill up quickly.

Prior to applying, thoroughly read the job descriptions for the positions you have interest in. You’re competing with other applicants for a job at one of the top seasonal amusement parks in the world and need to bring your A-game to the interview.

Associate benefits include flexible schedules for students, teachers, parents, retirees and part-time job seekers, option to work as many or as few hours as you want, free seasonal admission to Kings Island and all Cedar Fair amusement and water parks, discounts on food and merchandise, associate-only ride nights, parties, picnics, field trips, events and more.

What could working at Kings Island teach you and how would it be beneficial to your career aspirations? In choosing to make Kings Island your employer of choice, you’ll develop these three essential and transferable skills: Communications skills, interpersonal skills, and work ethic.

Seasonal positions at Kings Island also have the potential to turn into more than just a summer job. The majority of the park’s full-time year-round staff began their career as seasonal associates at Kings Island or other amusement parks.
