Kings Island voted top Halloween theme park event in national poll

The Halloween season means haunted houses and mazes, an assortment of gruesome and vile creatures, horror movies, creepy-looking clowns and decorations. With the scary season just around the corner, USA Today’s 10Best went on a mission to find the best haunted attractions in the United States.
After a month of spirited voting in the USA Today 10Best Readers’ Choice travel awards contest, Kings Island’s Halloween Haunt has won the title of Best Theme Park Halloween Event in the country, and for good reason.
Halloween Haunt features evil creatures, frightening haunted mazes and scare zones, sinister shows, and night rides on some of the top ranked roller coasters in the world, including The Beast, Mystic Timbers, Diamondback and Orion. Special lighting and fog effects turn the 364-acre amusement park into a veritable playground of Halloween-themed fear.

This marks the third time Kings Island has been voted Best Theme Park Halloween Event, having previously won the USA Today 10Best award in 2021 and 2018.
