Foodie Guide to Kings Island’s Grand Carnivale July 17 through Aug. 1

If you’re a foodie fan, then you will be excited for Grand Carnivale at Kings Island.

The immersive cultural celebration runs July 17 through Aug. 1 and features 24 authentic culinary creations across six countries to choose from as you taste your way around the world.

Grand Carnivale food and beverage booths open at 5 p.m. each day. 

Buy a Grand Carnivale Food Tasting Card and enjoy six food tastings for only $30 when you buy in advance online.

Season passholders can take advantage of a special offer of nine food tastings for only $45 online, which can be used across multiple visits to Grand Carnivale during the 2021 season.

CHINA

  • Chicken Fried Rice – Wok fried rice tossed in a flavorful sauce with Chinese vegetables
  • Steamed Pork Dumplings with Ponzu – Tender pork with scallions served with ginger soy garlic sauce
  • General Tso Egg Rolls – Filled with sweet and spicy braised chicken and Asian vegetables with a side of General Tso dipping sauce
  • Almond Cookies & Fortune Cookies – A tasting portion of these famous cookies

FRANCE

  • Summer Berry & Lemon Crêpe – Strawberries, blackberries and blueberries with lemon curd
  • Jambon–Beurre – Traditional ham and herb butter sandwich served on a French baguette

  • Chicken, Shrimp & Sausage Paella – Slow cooked in a traditional paella pan with saffron rice, bell peppers, tomatoes and onions
