Hello, and welcome to the seventh episode of our PEANUTS Sketch School at Home series. In this episode, Sketch School teacher Noel is going to show you how to draw Charlie Brown.
Charlie Brown is a born loser who never loses hope. I’m not sure why his friends refer to him as a blockhead, though. Have you ever seen someone with a rounder head?
Before you get going with the video, here are a few little quick tips to help you. First, you get to work at your own pace. If you think Noel is going to fast or you get confused, you can always hit pause on the video, back it up and watch the same steps over again. Or, you can freeze frame the image altogether and draw right off the TV. Again, the beauty of Sketch School is you get to work at your own pace.
Second, you’re going to need a couple of art supplies with a plain old blank sheet of paper with nothing on it and a pencil. A No. 2 pencil is recommended because the lines will be smoother but if you don’t have any pencils around the house, a crayon or marker will work.
Alright – it’s time to draw Linus. Pencils up! It’s cartoon time!
