Food and Beverage team drafting, sampling new recipes to wow guests in 2021

The Food and Beverage team at Kings Island has been busy drafting and sampling new recipes to “wow” our guests for the 2021 season, which opens in May. From new beverage offerings to new sandwiches and sides, we are sure to take your taste buds for a ride. Executive Chef James Major keeps us moving forward with his saying, “Our Mission is to be the Gold standard for amusement park food.”

Some items tested during the 2020 season received so much positive feedback that we have decided to fine tune them and make them available again this year. Other new food options are coming off the recipe pads that are floating around our test kitchen.

One of the new items that Chef Major is most excited about for this season plays off one of our oldest food and beverage staples in the park. Said Chef Major, “I might be a little bias when I say this, but this is going to be BIG!

“Our goal as a Food and Beverage department is whether you live five minutes or five hours away, you’re just as excited about where you’re going to eat as what you’re going to ride.”
