The wait is finally over! Today we are thrilled to share the first official POV video of the new Orion roller coaster at Kings Island.

Designed exclusively for Kings Island by Switzerland-based Bolliger & Mabillard, Orion makes its public debut July 2 when Kings Island opens for the 2020 season to season passholders. It is one of only seven giga coasters in the world, a class of coasters having a height or drop of 300-399 feet. Riders traverse on a high-speed journey over eight hills and 5,321 feet of track at speeds up to 91 mph on the tallest and fastest roller coaster at Kings Island.

A Walk in the Park at Kings Island: Shopping Trip

Hello everyone! Although I’m a tad sun burnt, let me just say that Coasterstock was amazing! From meeting all of the coaster enthusiasts, the guest speakers, delicious food and going on the behind the scenes tours, especially the Flight of Fear tour, it was my first Coasterstock and I’m hoping it won’t be my last. I think my favorite part of all was seeing a group of people come together, who all have a passion for roller coasters and amusement parks in general and celebrating that passion.
