Orion, Kings Island’s newest roller coaster, will make its highly anticipated debut when the park reopens for the 2020 season to season passholders July 2-11, with others admitted beginning July 12.
Designed exclusively by Switzerland-based Bolliger & Mabillard, Orion is one of only seven giga coasters in the world, a class of coasters having a height or drop of 300-399 feet.
Thrill-seekers will traverse on a high-speed journey over eight hills and 5,321 feet of track at speeds up to 91 mph on the tallest and fastest roller coaster at Kings Island.
