Last week we introduced a new series on the Kings Island Blog, PEANUTS Sketch School at Home, with Sketch School artist Noel showing you how to animate Schroeder.

The series continues this week with Lucy Van Pelt. All you need to join Noel in animating Lucy are a couple of arts supplies: a blank sheet of paper and a No. 2 pencil.

This is a fun activity kids and their parents will enjoy doing together. We want to see your drawings so be sure to share and tag us in your social media posts using #KingsIsland and #SketchSchool.

ABOUT LUCY VAN PELT

Where to begin with Lucy? She’s bossy, crabby, confident, strong and believes one day she’ll make a great president or queen. But there’s more to Lucy than that. She looks out for her brothers, Linus and Rerun, and business savvy for such a young age, offering sound advice for just five cents. Oh, and she’s in love with a musician, Schroeder.

Lucy first appeared in PEANUTS comic strips in 1952 and has the third most appearances in PEANUTS TV specials, ranking below Linus, who appears in all but two specials, and Charlie Brown and Snoopy, who have appeared in every special and movie.
