Kings Island announces important updates regarding the rest of the 2020 Season. Learn More.
Every high school has its urban legend and Cleaver High is no exception.
It was dark, dark and tacky night for a 1980’s homecoming dance at Cleaver High School. As the legend goes, budget cuts had slashed the funding for the school’s overrated show choir program. The future divas had nowhere to express their creative and musical talents.
They refused to join sports, cheerleading and student council. Instead, they decided to form their own singing group and were booked to make their premiere performance at the dance. But tragedy struck! The group unexplainably and mysteriously vanished. The performance never took place.
Somehow the singers stuck together in the afterlife. They added backup dancers and new material from composers and decomposers alike. Each fall these school spirits are granted the opportunity to rejoin us for a haunted homecoming.
Don't miss your chance to catch a performance by the "Deadbeats" on the Showplace Theatre stage Friday and Saturday nights at Halloween Haunt through Oct. 26. This Halloween rock-fest features classic songs from yesterday and today.
