For the Love of Sweets

“Por el Amor de los Dulces”

This phrase can be seen above many of the doorways leading into Sweet Spot on International Street. What does it mean? The Spanish phrase translated is, “For the Love of Sweets”. That’s right, lovers of everything sweet unite, it’s time to take a tour of this sweet-smelling shop and get a look at all the delicious treats that you can find here. We’ll start with the fudge!

When you enter through the main entrance of Sweet Spot, the fudge counter is to your right. Now when we say we have a variety of fudge, we mean it. From red velvet, rocky road, vanilla praline, maple nut and chocolate walnut all the way to dark chocolate sea salt caramel, snickers, cookies & cream, blue ice cream and orange dreamsicle.

Caramel Apples

Caramel apples, caramel apples with nuts, and cookies & cream? Yes, you read that correctly. Right next to the fudge is where caramel apples are displayed. Sweet Spot offers a variety of caramel apples, including cookies & cream, apple pie, turtle, and triple chocolate!

Lollipops, saltwater taffy, and buckeyes oh my! Almost everything on display at Sweet Spot is made fresh in house, including chocolate and vanilla buckeyes, Sweet Spot cookies, and a vast variety of saltwater taffy. With flavors like watermelon, strawberry banana, orange cream and vanilla to  huckleberry, maple bacon, pumpkin pie and key lime, there is no shortage of flavors when it comes to saltwater taffy!

Cotton Candy

When we say “cotton candy” we aren’t talking about just regular cotton candy, although we have that flavor too! At Sweet Spot on International Street, our other “everyday” flavors include bubble gum, cake batter, blue ice cream, cookie dough and chocolate fudge. Feeling adventurous? Our “rotating” flavors include pear, pineapple, Bavarian cream, wasabi, alfredo, and butter!

Who else’s mouth is watering? Head over to Sweet Spot on International Street and explore for yourself! Remember, life is short, make it sweet!

Designed by TOGO, it was the first roller coaster in the world to be designed from the ground up as a stand-up. Other stand-up roller coasters that preceded King Cobra were sit-down models later modified to accommodate stand-up trains, so this made it truly the world’s first.
