Tips to winning at Ring Toss

Bigger and newer attractions may garner the attention, but there’s still room at Kings Island for an old-fashioned ring toss game that sends winners home every day with big stuffed animals.

Ring Toss, located in Coney Mall, is one of four games still remains that opened with Kings Island in 1972 and it continues to be as popular as ever.

Ring Toss consists of glass bottles lined up side-by-side. This game of skill requires good aim, steady hand-eye coordination, and a rapid flick of the wrist for the perfect toss. The quicker you snap your wrist, the better the spin you’ll put on the ring. You’ll need to land at least one ring around the neck of a bottle to win a prize.

To increase your chance of winning, slowly toss one ring at a time, carefully aiming for the center row of bottles. Similar in nature to tossing a Frisbee, you’ll want to get the ring to fly and land completely flat.

It might take a few times playing Ring Toss to get the hang of it, but once you do it's a game you’ll want to play it every time you visit Kings Island.
