Following Halloween Haunt, Kings Island welcomes the return of a family holiday tradition, WinterFest, for the 2017 holiday season! Starting in November, the park will be magically transformed into a winter wonderland full of enchantment and holiday cheer, adding to the 100 reasons to have a Gold Season Pass all year long.

Become immersed in the season's spirit with spectacular holiday lights and decor, world-class live entertainment, luscious treats and fanciful experiences throughout the park. Your family can experience all their favorite holiday traditions and more with Kings Island’s WinterFest event:

Sights: Kings Island’s iconic 314-foot tall Eiffel Tower will be the focal point of WinterFest after being transformed into the world’s largest Christmas tree display. Additionally, magnificently decorated trees, lavish holiday décor and literally millions of spectacular lights will shimmer throughout the park.

Sounds: Joyful sounds of the season will ring all over the park during WinterFest, with special live stage shows and carolers.

Tastes: Families can enjoy festive food and drinks, including a holiday style menu featuring traditional favorites and Kings Island’s homemade hot chocolate!

Rides: The holidays are even more cheerful when you can experience some of your favorite rides and attractions, including the Grand Carousel and a journey through the park’s Rivertown area on an authentic steam train.

Crafts: Kings Island will host its version of Santa’s Workshop, Crafter Village – featuring handmade gifts from some of Cincinnati’s best crafters, holiday shopping fun is found in every corner.

Fun: Below the Eiffel Tower Christmas tree display, International Street will be transformed into a colorful and quaint winter village, featuring the fun of holidays past – outdoor ice skating on the park’s Royal Fountain, Christmas carolers and homemade crafts. Those who have been especially good can explore Santa’s workshop and Mrs. Claus’ kitchen, all part of WinterFest’s warmth and excitement.
