  1. Thursday and Saturday packet pickup will be located at Bob Roncker's at 127 W. Loveland Ave., Loveland,OH. Get Directions

  2. There is no race-day packet pickup for the half marathon or Banshee 10K.

  3. You may pick up your packet and the packets of up to four of your friends. You must have a copy of the photo ID and the printout of the registration signed by each person whose packet you are getting. You will also need to bring signed waivers if the online waiver has not been completed.

  4. In the event you cannot race but still want your free or discounted park entry, you will still need to pick up your race packet. We will have packet pickup available from 8am-9am on Sunday morning at the race start for participants to pick up packets who do not want to race but still want to take advantage of free or discounted park entry.


The dance party starts at 6:30pm at the 5K start line. While you are getting your pre-run groove on we will be giving out prizes for the best dressed, best bling, most glow and lots of other fun categories. The finish line is located at Soak City which is in a different location than the start area so you will be able to work your way back through the park enjoying the scary Halloween setup if you parked near the start line. Please note that costumes may not include masks that cover your face.
You don't have to compete to enjoy the Run & Ride weekend. Volunteer to help out at Packet Pickup or on the course. Regardless of how you choose to help, we can guarantee that you'll be a winner in the eyes every single runner who passes by.

When you register for the race, you will receive a confirmation email which includes a link to purchase discounted weekend parking as well as discounted tickets for friends and family joining you for the race weekend. Discount tickets are only valid the weekend of the races. Registration includes single-day admission - September 26th - for Glow Run 5K participants and admission for all three days - September 26th-28th - for Half Marathon and 10K participants. Don't want to leave the spouse and kids at home? Bring them along and take advantage of an amazing discounted rate for the entire weekend. While you soak in the sun, they can enjoy all the world-class rides and attractions Kings Island has to offer.

The half-marathon and 10K events will be timed using the MyLaps BibChip system. Start and finish times will be recorded and posted live to the race timing web site and will be available at the finish line through interactive screens at the timing trailer. Timing chips are disposable, so feel free to keep it as a memento or toss it in the trash.

The MyLaps tracking timing chip will be attached to your race bib. Your bib should be attached to your front and be clearly visible. In the event that more than 2,000 participants take part in any of the events, a wave start will be used. More information will be forth coming closer to race day.

Once you cross the finish line, you’ll enter the Run and Ride Finish Zone, a fenced-off area designated for participants only. Take some time in the Run & Ride Finish Zone to take on some fluids, refuel with bagels and bananas, receive your finisher's medal, and check out your time on our interactive screens at the timing trailer.

The information booth will be positioned at the start and finish to assist you with any race-day questions. The information booth will also serve as the race-day Lost & Found. Any valuables found at the start or finish should be turned in to the information booth. Any valuable items not claimed at the finish by noon will be taken to the park’s lost and found department. To claim a lost item after the event, please contact Kings Island’s Lost & Found.

Emergency Medical Services will be stationed at the finish line. The medical team is on site to assist with minor medical emergencies. In the event there are any major medical emergencies, 911 will be called and those in need of care will be transported to the nearest medical facility.
