Thousands of people will gather at Kings Island on June 2, not to ride Mystic Timbers, The Beast, Banshee or Diamondback, but to walk.
The walkers will participate in the 24th annual JDRF One Walk at the 364-acre amusement and water park to share JDRF’s mission to find a cure for type 1 diabetes (T1D).
The JDRF One Walk features a 4k course around the park offering views of many of Kings Island’s popular attractions, like the award-winning Mystic Timbers, Banshee and Diamondback.
Walk day registration opens at 7 a.m. The walk begins at 8 a.m.
The JDRF One Walk at Kings Island is one of the largest fundraising walks in the country. Since 1994, more than $12 million has been raised from the walk at Kings Island, including a record $700,000 last year.
