Fireworks a Kings Island tradition
May 28, 2020Growing up, I thought every amusement park ended their night with a fireworks celebration. Then I visited another park (within driving distance) and discovered that’s not always the case.
Who could blame me? I grew up in Kings Island, and back in those days I didn’t have a Season Pass, so we made the most of our visits to the park by staying until the very last minute we could. I ‘always’ watched the fireworks in front of the “World’s Largest Hanging Basket” of plants near the Auto Livery (Antique Cars) at the entrance to Rivertown.
Fast forward (a lot) of years, and right now I’m missing those fireworks. Then, as I was looking through photos and videos on my camera reel, I came across this complete fireworks show from Kings Island’s WinterFest New Year’s Eve Celebration. I thought you might like to see it too. Enjoy!
