Millions tuned in to NBC’s hit show, The Voice, on Monday and heard the pop-inspired sounds of Kings Island performer Michael Williams. The 18-year-old Mason, Ohio resident has entertained guests at Kings Island for the past two seasons, starring in Country Flashback, and WinterFest’s Holly Jolly Trolley.
Williams performance of Lauren Daigle’s “You Say” and left the show’s audience wanting more. Nick Jonas will serve as his coach on the show.
“Working at Kings Island has given me the opportunity to work on my craft and endurance on a daily basis,” said Williams in a recent interview. “Plus, it’s given me the chance to perform in front of large audiences in a family-friendly environment,” something that definitely helped him on The Voice.
“He’s just as nice as he is talented,” said Kevin Brunck, Manager of Live Entertainment at Kings Island. “He’s genuinely a very caring person and he’s been a great asset to Kings Island’s entertainment program.”
Even though he plans to return to the amusement park for the 2020 season in April, everyone at the park is rooting for him to win it all on Season 18 of The Voice.
