Kings Island is coming back to life with associates working hard to bring some good ol’ fashion fun back to the park for the start of the 2020 season. Not everything is old fashioned, however.

The new Orion roller coaster is well underway to debut for its first season. All the final details are being put into place as guests anxiously anticipate the new giga coaster, one of only seven in the world. The ride has undergone many test runs and is awaiting volunteers for simulation starting July 2 for Season Passholders.

Park associates are working around the clock to get the park ready for the gates to open. There are many different tasks being accomplished as you are reading, and no detail is too small. From planting a flower in the Floral Clock by the Eiffel Tower, all the way to transferring the trains onto the track of Diamondback, everything is done with precision and care. Rides such as Viking Fury, Dodgem and Scrambler are getting some extra love this season, which our Kings Island Blog readers learned about last week.

What are you looking forward to most when the wait is finally over and the park opens for the season?
