Floral Clock an iconic Kings Island attraction

The most iconic and most photographed landscape feature at Kings Island is the floral clock. When it was built in 1972, it was the world’s largest and heaviest clock mechanism. At 23 feet in diameter, the mechanism was designed to rotate large steel clock arms while featuring over 2,500 pounds of plants and sod.

The location of the floral clock behind the Eiffel Tower on International Street is its second home in the park. It was originally located where the International Showplace Theatre resides during Kings Island’s first five seasons of operation, from 1972 to 1976.
