For parents with children too old for The Great Pumpkin Fest and too young for Halloween Haunt, Kings Island has several attractions this fall that will appeal to the tween-age group with the all-new HalloTween.

Open Saturdays and Sundays from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. beginning September 22 through October 27, HalloTween offers spooky-fun haunts for young scare-seekers without the fear of running into the gruesome creatures lurking in the shadows at Halloween Haunt.

HalloTween attractions include:

Blackout – Are You Afraid Of The Dark?

This pitch-black labyrinth of twisted corridors and zigzagging halls will put your fear of the dark to the ultimate test. While there are no monsters lurking in the shadows, only the boldest and the bravest will make it to the end. Are you afraid of the dark? Dare to prove it?

C.H.A.O.S. – Expedition Orion

Amateur Astronauts Wanted! In preparation of the 2020 Orion Expedition, C.H.A.O.S. Labs is launching an interstellar voyage to the surface of the Moon, and the scientists need your help. Participate in a variety of challenging puzzles and mazes that will put your intergalactic intelligence to the test. Applicants fluent in Alien are automatically enrolled!

Madame Fatale’s Museum of Mystery

Calling all sophomore sleuths and aspiring investigators! Madame Fatale needs your help to identify which of her zany guests vandalized her prized collection of wax figurines. Collect clues, interview suspects and determine whodunit. Was it Mrs. Fiona Fear, the museum’s historian, or Mr. Benjamin Beast, the animal keeper? Only YOU can find out.

Shipwrecked: X Marks The Spot

Arrrgh you brave enough to walk the plank and navigate the cursed waters of Kenton’s Cove? Tighten your bootstraps and steel your nerves as you assist a band of pirates and their magical mermaids in a nautical quest across mysterious seas. Landlubbers beware.

In addition to the HalloTween attractions, all rides except for White Water Canyon, Congo Falls and Race For Your Life Charlie Brown will be open. Be advised rides in Planet Snoopy will close on Saturdays at 7 p.m. with the transformation of the park into Halloween Haunt.
