Kids’ costume contest among the highlights for families at The Great Pumpkin Fest

The Halloween season is upon us! Time to dress up the kids in their favorite costumes, grab your camera and head to Kings Island for The Great Pumpkin Fest.

One of the top family-friendly Halloween events in Greater Cincinnati, The Great Pumpkin Fest features more than 35 activities, including meet-and-greet opportunities with the PEANUTS characters, trick-or-treat stops, live entertainment, games, a petting farm and everyone’s favorite rides.

During the event, all little ghouls and goblins are invited to participate in Lucy’s Holiday Fashion Show & Costume Contest at 2 p.m. with a chance for kids to win prizes.

The Great Pumpkin Fest runs Saturdays and Sundays from 12-7 p.m. through Oct. 27 and included with park admission.

By the time workmen had completed the massive Beast construction, they had used 650,000 board feet of southern pine lumber; 37,500 pounds of nails; 82,480 bolts and washers and 2,432 square yards of concrete.
