Kings Island fans can watch one of the most popular episodes of "The Brady Bunch" series this Sunday at 1 p.m. when MeTV airs “The Cincinnati Kids” episode filmed at the park in 1973.

Episode No. 106 of The Brady Bunch was filmed over a five-day period Aug. 20-24, 1973, the second year Kings Island was open and premiered three months later, Nov. 23, 1973 on ABC.

The show featured stars Robert Reed, Florence Henderson, Barry Williams, Maureen McCormick, Christopher Knight, Eve Plumb, Mike Lookinland, Susan Olsen and Ann B. Davis searching all over Kings Island for Mike Brady’s (played by Reed) architectural drawings for a park expansion project.

Watching this episode always brings back so many memories that I have of Kings Island’s early years as the Brady kids literally run through the park in search of a poster tube containing Mike Brady’s drawings that Jan Brady (played by Plumb) lost. A number of rides that are long gone but not forgotten can be seen in the episode, including Halleys Comet, Der Spinnen Keggers (the first ride I experienced at Kings Island), the park’s original antique cars, Wheel of Fortune and Kenton’s Cove Canoes, where Jan lost the plans.

For our Kings Island Blog readers who have seen this episode, share in the comments below your favorite scene.
