It’s hard to believe that we are only 30 days away from the start of the 2019 season at Kings Island, which opens April 20.

Construction is taking shape on the new Kings Mills Antique Autos and the renovation on International Street, and we couldn’t be more excited about each project.

The addition of the Kings Mills Antique Autos really enhances the look and feel of Coney Mall. The ride will rekindle memories for nostalgia buffs by bringing back the vintage feel of Kings Island’s original antique car ride, Les Taxis, which operated from 1972 to 2004, while creating memories and traditions for new generations of park visitors.

No element of International Street has been left untouched as crews update the Royal Fountain, install more than 130,000 new pavers, improve each building façade and enhance the landscaping.

Watch this video for a look at construction on the Kings Mills Antique Autos and International Street.
