Grand Carnivale features Weekend Concert Series
June 10, 2019Get ready to rock at Grand Carnivale! Not only will there be authentic tastes and sips inspired by France, Italy, India, Germany and China, a street party and extravagant parade, this amazing event will be amplified with a weekend concert series.
Performances take place at the Bandstand on International Street at 5:30 to 6:00 PM, 7:15 to 7:45 PM and 9:00 to 9:25 PM on Fridays and 5:30 to 6:00 PM, 7:15 to 7:45 PM, 9:00 to 9:25 PM and 10:25 to 10:50 PM on Saturdays.
Here’s the lineup:
June 15: Brother Joscephus and the Love Revolution
- A ten-piece gumbo of feel-good roots rock, old soul, Nawlins street sounds and secular gospel.
June 21-22: Mystic Bowie’s Talking Dreads
- The brainchild of Jamaican born Mystic Bowie, who is best known as a vocalist of the Tom Tom Club. The Talking Dreads may be labeled a cover band but they are so much more with their unique spin on Talking Heads classics.
June 28-29: Swift Technique
- Based out of Philadelphia, Swift Technique is a unique blend of funk, soul, rock, hip-hop and unwavering showmanship. Swift’s mission is to get you grooving, get you grinning and fill you with the positive energy that the world so sorely needs.
July 5-6: Raffy
- This musical quartet's infectious energy has been embraced across Canada through a live tour, appearances on television and radio airplay of their first hit single.
Grand Carnivale Weekend Concert Series performances are included with Kings Island admission.
