Family fun abounds at Snoopy's Barnyard Friends

Natalie Belfiglio

Social Media Coordinator - Kings Island

Nestled in the back of Planet Snoopy is Snoopy’s Barnyard Friends Petting Farm. It should really be front and center because the animals are amazing, as are the people who come in from Honey Hill Farm to take care of them. Chickens, ducks, rabbits, sheep, goats, alpacas, miniature horses, steers, and pot bellied pigs call this place home.

Now just a quick fun fact about these animals, they are all mostly rescues and they are almost all named after movie characters. For example, there’s an adorable set of alpaca brothers named Bilbo Baggins and Chewbacca, a llama named Gandalf and a rooster named Brad. A silkie chicken named Jaws immediately stole my heart. Watch the video to see just how many furry and feathery friends there are to interact with.

Snoopy’s Barnyard Friends is open daily from 12pm-6pm Sunday through Saturday and includes pettings, feedings and horse rides. Stop by and visit Brad, Jaws, Chewbacca and the rest of their friends on your next trip to Kings Island!
