Celebrate Grand Carnivale with limited-edition merchandise
June 18, 2019Grand Carnivale is here until July 7 and when it’s gone so is the limited edition merchandise! Let’s take a tour around the Emporium’s Grand Carnivale display and see what catches our eye! We’ll start with t-shirts. There are several different t-shirts to commemorate your time dancing with the performers in the Spectacle of Color Parade. Our personal favorite is of Snoopy with his Mardi Gras beads on with “Party Animal” written on it. There’s also one with the whole PEANUTS gang and of course the classic t-shirts with Grand Carnivale on it and another with a picture of a jester on it.
In addition to the floats that represent China, India, Germany, France and Italy, we also have three Mardi Gras floats which were made by Kern Studios in New Orleans, LA, the company that has crafted floats for the iconic Mardi Gras celebrations down in the Big Easy since 1947. We all know that no Mardi Gras party is complete without beads and masks. Kings Island has you covered for Grand Carnivale with several different masks, and some that even light up!
Beads are a hot item on International Street during the parade, as are the streamers! Watch the parade and get beads from our Mardi Gras floats and then come check out the limited edition beads and feather boas that we offer. For the little ones, we have Snoopy plushies in Grand Carnivale colors (blue and pink)!
Don’t think we forgot about our pin collectors! Specially made for Grand Carnivale, we have an all new limited-time pin to add to your growing collection. You can find them at Emporium in dishes on the Grand Carnivale display table. Get yours before they’re gone!
Now that you’re dressed to the nines, it’s time to go and enjoy the Spectacle of Color Parade and don’t forget to try food from all five countries!
