Halloween Haunt scare actor, WinterFest live performer auditions begin this month
July 2, 2019The calendar may have just turned to July, but the entertainment team at Kings Island is preparing for fall and winter with interviews and auditions for Halloween Haunt scare actors and WinterFest live performers set to begin this month.
All interviews and auditions will be held in the Human Resources Building at Kings Island. No appointments are necessary.
Halloween Haunt – Scare Actors
Interviews and auditions will be held every Friday from 4-7 p.m. and Saturday from 2-5 p.m. July 12 through September 14.
Rehearsals for Halloween Haunt will begin in the evenings in early September and will be open for operation every Friday and Saturday night beginning September 20 through October 27. You will want to interview early for choice positions.
WinterFest – Vocalists, Dancers, Musicians, Actors
Auditions will be held every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Sunday from 12-4 p.m. July 13 through August 31.
Vocalists – Please prepare two songs in a pop or country style. Piano accompaniment will be provided. Pre-recorded accompaniment is also acceptable. You may also be asked to stay and learn a short dance/movement combination.
Dancers – You will be taught a dance combination. Please wear appropriate dance attire.
Musicians – Please prepare two selections in a contemporary pop style. Drum set will be provided.
Actors – Please prepare a two-minute, family-friendly monologue.
WinterFest rehearsals will begin in the evenings in late October and early November (depending on the show you are cast in). All applicants should bring a current resume, headshot and a complete list of availability from late October through December 31.
