Kings Island schedules entertainer auditions for its 2020 summer and WinterFest seasons

Do you love the stage? Do you enjoy being in the spotlight? If so, then it’s time to loosen up those vocal cords and polish your dancing shoes!

Kings Island is holding performer and actor auditions this month in its search for vibrant, trained, talented and versatile performers for its 2020 summer and WinterFest seasons.

The 364-acre amusement and water park is looking for musicians, singers, dancers, actors, variety artists, Peanuts characters, character cohorts, technicians and costumers.

Auditions will be held Dec. 19-22 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Kings Island in The Beast Room in the Human Resources building.

All performers and technicians will be seen in the order they arrive on the audition dates.

Please bring a head shot, resume and your availability from April through August, November and December.

Housing is available for all positions.

R.I.P. Firehawk

After nearly a week of social and news media speculation, Kings Island has revealed that Firehawk is the roller coaster that will be headed to the grave in October. Final rides will begin this weekend, with its last days of operation occurring during the final weekend of Halloween Haunt and The Great Pumpkin Fest, October 26-28. Firehawk has given over 6.7 million rides since opening at Kings Island in 2007. Its record year was 2014, when 624,016 rides were given.

Confirmed: Kings Island removing roller coaster

Kings Island’s Halloween Haunt has been nominated for Best Halloween event in the 2018 USA TODAY 10Best Readers’ Choice Travel Awards contest. You can cast a vote once per day until voting ends October 2 at noon ET. The winning event will be announced October 12. Halloween Haunt features nine haunted mazes, four spine-tingling scare zones, three sinister shows, plus the thrill of more than 20 of your favorite rides, including The Beast, Banshee, Diamondback and Mystic Timbers roller coasters.
