Drop Tower poised to give 10 millionth ride Labor Day weekend
August 30, 2019Drop Tower has been one of the most popular attractions at Kings Island for thrill-seekers since its debut in 1999.
Not only is Drop Tower celebrating its 20th anniversary season this year, 315-foot tall attraction is poised to give its 10 million ride this weekend.
Drop Tower spins riders on a 30-foot ring of 40 seats that encircles the drop tower to a height of more than 26 stories, and then drops guests in a 67 mph free-fall.
Delirium and Backlot Stunt Coaster each gave their 10 millionth rides earlier this year.
This weekend will also be the last chance for guests to enjoy one last splash in Soak City Water Park and all the water rides (White Water Canyon, Congo Falls, Race for Your Life Charlie Brown) this season.
Here are Kings Island operating hours this weekend:

- Saturday: 10 a.m. – 10 p.m.
- Sunday: 10 a.m. – 10 p.m.
- Monday: 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.
