“The air is eerily calm as we make final preparations for the ill-fated demise of one of our own. R.I.P. 10/28/2018. #RestInPiecesKI #ItsBigItsGone #RIP2018KI.”
That’s what a sign says accompanied by a setup that includes a tombstone, funeral flower bouquets and 11 wooden chairs in the Halloween Haunt graveyard of former Kings Island rides and attractions.
Speculation on social media and Park and enthusiast fan sites has been running wild since the sign was spotted during the opening weekend of Halloween Haunt as to what attraction could be leaving as of October 28. Most of the speculation centers around the Vortex, Firehawk, Racer, Backlot Stunt Coaster, Invertigo and WindSeeker as the attraction that will be leaving.
Will it be one of the attractions being speculated? Will it be something nobody's talking about? Whatever it is it's big, it's gone.
