Attention Cincinnati Reds fans! Former Reds first baseman Hal Morris will be at Kings Island on Saturday (June 9) to meet fans and sign autographs from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Reds Hall of Fame Grille.
Morris had two stints with the Reds, from 1990 to '97 and as the backup to Sean Casey in 1999 and 2000. He helped the Reds win the World Series in 1990 by hitting .340, and batted above .300 in five of his eight years with the Reds as a regular.
Located in the Rivertown area of the park next to the Diamondback roller coaster, the air-conditioned Reds Hall of Fame Grille features authentic Reds memorabilia, framed jerseys and photos, and other bits of history dating back to the 1800s, plus 20 flat screen TVs. Riblets, chicken tenders, burgers, chicken and pulled pork sandwiches highlight the menu options.
