Kings Island announces important updates regarding the rest of the 2020 Season. Learn More.
The Peach Basket has been one of the most popular games at Kings Island for parts of four decades. This Labor Day weekend is the last chance our guests will have an opportunity to play the game at its long time location in Coney Mall across from Juke Box Diner and near the Vortex entrance.
The Peach Basket stand will be removed next week when construction begins on the new Kings Mills Antique Autos.
The location of the Peach Basket stand is where the entrance for the Kings Mills Antique Autos will be built. Guests will board replicas of the 1911 Ford Model T and take a ride around a scenic track. The ride will be similar to the original Les Taxis antique car ride and will be located near The Racer roller coaster.
The previous antique cars ride opened with Kings Island in 1972 and operated into the 2004 season.
The ride experience on the Kings Mills Antique Autos will last approximately three minutes. The ride will open spring 2019.
While the Peach Basket stand will be a memory after this weekend, this game of skill will continue to be something to challenge our guests for a chance to win a variety of prizes in a new location in Coney Mall.
