During the end of the 2016 season, Kings Island Haunt fans were greeted with a surprise in Rivertown, when Tom+Chee opened up in the former Snake Pit besides Diamondback roller coaster. During the off-season, Kings Island worked closely with Tom+Chee to make them a permanent fixture on the Kings Island midway. You will find Tom+Chee located right outside the entrance to Diamondback again this season.
Tom+Chee's most notable menu item is the grilled cheese donut making it the perfect fair style food guests would expect to find at an amusement park. The glazed donut is sliced in half and grilled before being topped with cheese and melted to perfection. We tried the grilled cheese donut and were big fans of the sweet treat!
For those on the Kings Island dining plans, you will also be happy to hear the park is offering two great options suitable for a wide audience group.
Dining plan options include a Classic Grilled Cheese with Bag of Chips. Or for you more adventurous types, try the BBQ Bacon Grilled Cheese with Bag of Chips. We ate both meal plan options from Tom+Chee and they were excellent, with the BBQ Bacon Grilled Cheese being a new favorite in the park!
We are happy to see such a well-respected brand join the Kings Island family of food options.
