More than 7,000 people gathered at Kings Island on Saturday, not to ride The Beast, Banshee, Diamondback and the new Mystic Timbers roller coasters, but to walk.

The walkers participated in the 23rd annual JDRF One Walk at the 364-acre amusement and water park to share JDRF’s mission to find a cure for type 1 diabetes (T1D).

The JDRF One Walk at Kings Island is one of the largest fundraising walks in the country. Since 1994, more than $12 million has been raised from the walk at Kings Island, including over $700,000 this year.
