Kings Island

Ticket Donations - KI Cares

The Kings Island Cares charity ticket program is now closed for 2009.

We appreciate your patience as our committee continues to review the many requests received. Due to the volume, it may take upwards to four weeks to receive a response.

For those who have already been awarded tickets, please know that the mailing of tickets will begin in the coming weeks ahead.

If you have any questions about this program, you may email your questions to kicharity@visitkingsisland.com

Thank you for all that you do to better our community and the lives in it!

Consideration for ticket donations were given to those non-profit organizations who met the criteria below. Kings Island generously contributes over a half million dollars in complimentary admission tickets each year, however, history shows that there has always been a greater call for (tickets) than what we are able to distribute.

Requests we will CONSIDER:

  • Organizations from Indiana, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Michigan, West Virginia, Illinois and Tennessee as well as our home State of Ohio.
  • Organizations focused on the needs of children, families, and community – be it through social programs, educational systems, or the medical world.

Requests we CAN’T CONSIDER:

  • Individuals or individual families
  • For-profit organizations
  • Religious groups utilizing donations for fundraising events or other activities that do not directly benefit children
  • Political parties
  • Any organization that discriminates due to color, sex, nationality, sexual orientation or creed
PLEASE NOTE:
  • KI Cares does not donate monetarily.
  • KI Cares does not donate season passes; only single day admission tickets.
  • It is important to accurately complete all the requested information on the application.
  • Do not exceed maximum number of character spaces in fields where stated. Exceeding the maximum will result in system error and loss of information.
  • Submission of application does not guarantee tickets nor does it guarantee that the requested number of tickets will actually be awarded.
  • Participation in previous KI Cares programs does not guarantee automatic placement in future years.
  • For your application to be been successfully transmitted, after you click on the “Submit” button, you will receive a confirming “Thank You”.  If you do not receive, your transmission was not completed and you will need to start a new application.

HOW CAN YOU APPLY?

The application process has closed for the year and no other requests will be accepted.
Kings Island does not accept written or verbal requests for ticket donation.  KI Cares will re-open for requests in February 2010.
