Assist guests with Lost & Found items and/or the Pet Care Center. Monitor the pets in the care center.

Job Overview:

• Monitor pets utilizing the Pet Care Center
• Give verbal directions and assist guests and associates; including lost and/or separated guests
• Assess, resolve and contain situations and take appropriate action steps based upon policies and training

Admissions Associates welcome guests in our toll plaza, ticket booths and turnstiles, as well as process season passes and provide information about the park.

Job Overview:

• Cheerfully greet guests entering and exiting park
• Provide information regarding admission options, rides, attractions and special events
• Utilize computer to make and process season passes
• Operate and balance a cash register

Cash Control Tellers ensure accurate and efficient handling of cash deposits from park locations.  This position will involve frequent heavy lifting (50 pounds).

Job Overview:

• Count and audit money
• Prepare cash bags for park locations and transport or pick up money in the park as specified
• Operate office machines such as computer terminal, coin sorter, coin roller, scanner, currency counter and calculator
• Maintain high degree of confidentiality of paperwork and information

Food and Beverage Reserve Team

Food & Beverage Associates provide excellent service to guests while preparing and serving food in quick service restaurants, specialty franchise locations, and outdoor carts.

Food & Beverage Trainers implement comprehensive initial and ongoing training programs for the Food and Beverage Division. 

Job Overview:

·         Assist in the development of initial and ongoing training programs for Food and Beverage line associates and assistant team leaders

·         Maintain an efficient scheduling system for training classes according to operational needs

·         Facilitate training classes, including preparing all supplies and ensuring completion of required paperwork documentation

Warehouse Associates oversee the daily operation of the Food & Beverage Warehouse and ensure park locations have necessary stock.

Job Overview: 

• Load and unload stock from trucks with forklifts and dollies
• Operate fork lifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse vehicles
• Fill incoming orders and verify freshness before delivering to locations
• Maintain weekly inventory and rotation of stock
• Deliver items and retrieve items from locations in park

Warehouse Associates ensure that Games locations have adequate stock for operation.

Job Overview:

Guest Relations Associates provide assistance and information to park guests and resolve issues that may arise during their visit.

IT Technician interns assist in installing and monitoring computer systems and provide technical support to park employees.

Picnic Coordinators assist Group Sales and Guest Relations in ensuring a quality experience for group outings and picnics.

Merchandise Maintenance Technicians repair and service park lockers, strollers and wheelchairs.  They also service general departmental maintenance needs, including display facilities, and ensure that all safety standards are being met.

• Monitor and maintain strollers, electric convenience vehicles and wheelchairs to ensure proper working order
• Ensure correct function of lockers and replace parts as necessary
• Assist in coordinating delivery and retrieval of display hardware to and from park locations

• Team with location management and facility maintenance personnel to address any safety concerns

Merchandise Supervisors gain valuable business experience by executing successful operating plans for retail locations, focusing on areas such as employee development and maximizing profit.

Warehouse Receivers are responsible for receiving all stock into the warehouse by completing necessary counts and computer tracking to ensure accuracy of inventory.

• Count and document merchandise received, verifying against purchase order
• Key data on items received into computer accounting system and assign appropriate barcodes to items
• Make all tags and labels for product
• Move stock through designated areas of the warehouse based on stages of readiness for distribution to park locations
• Prepare for and assist with inventories of the warehouse
• Communicate professionally with management, associates and shop supervisors

Product Merchandisers are responsible for receiving, distributing and displaying merchandise for rack programs (i.e., jewelry, sunglasses, keychains) in retail locations.

• Set-up and maintain the visual integrity of displays and racks
• Monitor sales trends of items to ensure proper stock levels and recommend adjustments

Park Police Officers ensure a safe environment for park guests and associates and protect company assets.  They may supervise the work of other security associates.

Job Overview:

• Must have completed the Ohio Peace Officer Basic Training program
• Provide high visibility patrols of park buildings and grounds
• Supervise the work of other security associates as assigned
• Manage and investigate risk-related incidences
• Conduct surveillance operations and gather evidence
• Apprehend and arrest suspects, interrogate suspects and question witnesses and victims
• Provide first aid and crowd control during emergencies

Lifeguards monitor safety and assist guests in Soak City.  They need not be certified in advance, since they will receive on the job training through the E&A National Pool and Waterpark Lifeguard program.  However, they MUST possess swimming proficiency.

Job Overview:

• Constantly monitor and ensure safety of guests and co-workers
• Respond to and resolve guest concerns
• Test equipment and perform a "first ride" on slides each day to ensure proper operation
• Enforce all ride restrictions and water park/lifeguard rules
• Attend four hours of training each month to enhance lifeguard skills and maintain certification
• Perform swimming rescues and spinal injury management satisfactorily to meet E&A/ILTP standards
