A Powerful Partnership!

Kings Island and the Greater Cincinnati Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation are teaming up to raise money and breast cancer awareness.

75% of the funds raised locally are used to provide services in Greater Cincinnati:

Education and early detection
Information and support for survivors and families
Funding for free mammograms for underprivileged

25% of the funds raised locally support national research that will discover the cures for breast cancer.

A routine mammogram was the start of my journey as a breast cancer survivor. In July of 2006, just a few months after turning 40 they found a lump in my left breast. Thankfully early detection caught my cancer at Stage 1.
